june embroidery -freebiesi-am-a-child-of-god

Well I think it’s about time I got some new freebies on the website. LOL

You may recognize some of these as recent machine embroidery patterns that I’ve posted. I think they would make lovely hand work as well so enjoy stitching some out and let me see what you made!

You can find all of the new patterns on my Summer Freebies Page in PDF and Right click and copy formats. Have fun and get stitchin’! Please read my terms of use at the top of my freebie page for questions on selling and stuff like that. :D

Stacy: did you do the kitty one after spending the time with my IzzyBelle? Very cute stuff! Of course I love all your stuff!

homeberries: Now that you mention it ... - LOL. She's a sweet kitty. I love when they just let you pet them while they purrr , I think she even smiled for me. LOL

Stephanie: Yeeeehaw - new designs!!! I want a real kitty so bad but I guess I'll just have to suffer with your fantastic designs instead. At least the kitty won't shead or need a litter box! lol Great new patterns!

homeberries: I love kitties too, but hubby is allergic. I grew up with a fat loving cat that was a very loud purrer - LOL. He was a part of our family and lived 21 years. It was sad when my parents had to put him down. Oh well, I guess he lives on in my doodles. :D

Well I didn’t think I’d get them made in time, but I’m sending these sweet crafty embroidery patterns over to SWAKembroidery.com today. So keep your eye out for them to decorate your July 4th aprons, shirts, hand towels, or whatever your needle will punch through - LOL.

My SIL was asking me if you could do these by regular machine. At first I told her no, you have to have an embroidery machine, but now I’m thinking I could probably make some really cute patterns to applique by machine. Even a close zigzag edge with a little extra fabric sticking out would make a cute applique. Wash it a couple of times and it’s a shabby creation! I think I might try a few out and see what happens. :D

Have a happy day!

I really LOVE how they turned out!

Stephanie: Very cute and creative! BUT if you leave the fabric hang over the applique - it's called RAGGY!! lol lol And it's a great look!! From: The Queen of Raggy! lol lol :-)

homeberries: LOL - Raggy, Shabby it kind of sounds alike. :D It really depends on the choice of colors, don't you think? I mean if I use muted tones and primmy colors it would by Raggy.. Pinks and perky tones would by Shabby -LOL. I don't know, I'll just have to make one and then we'll decide -LOL.

Betty Ann: I hope I get to make something cute while I'm there. I can't wait.

homeberries: Are you kidding? It'll be like a sweat shop while you're here. I'll crack the whip if I see you slacking. LOL I think we'll have a lot of fun stitching up goodies for gifts... or maybe just for us. :D

I met this wonderful lady a few months ago on the phone (hey, when you live on the web the world is a really BIG place - lol), and hit it off with her right away. :D

Her name is Christina Goold and she is sooo talented! I live half way across the country from her, but I just love going to her website and blog to look at what she’s been shooting lately. If you live in the Spokane, WA area or Coeur d’Alene, ID area you are a lucky duck. Her photos are so special and I just love her new video package.

Here’s the one she has on her blog, I just had to share it. Of course I have no idea who the people are, but if you look at it as an editorial video of an adorable little girl and her Mommy I’m sure you’ll love it too. :D I want to be able to create photography just like her’s someday… “sigh”. If only I had the time to make ALL of my dreams come true - LOL.

homeberries: Christina, You are only on here because I really do think your photos are wonderful! I'm excited about the "sassy girls" too - LOL.

I LOVE birds! Today I’m going to share just a few of my favorite birdies on Zazzle that I just think are adorable and clever. Let me know which one you like best too!
