Well I didn’t think I’d get them made in time, but I’m sending these sweet crafty embroidery patterns over to SWAKembroidery.com today. So keep your eye out for them to decorate your July 4th aprons, shirts, hand towels, or whatever your needle will punch through – LOL.
My SIL was asking me if you could do these by regular machine. At first I told her no, you have to have an embroidery machine, but now I’m thinking I could probably make some really cute patterns to applique by machine. Even a close zigzag edge with a little extra fabric sticking out would make a cute applique. Wash it a couple of times and it’s a shabby creation! I think I might try a few out and see what happens.
Have a happy day!
I really LOVE how they turned out!

Are you kidding? It’ll be like a sweat shop while you’re here. I’ll crack the whip if I see you slacking. LOL
I think we’ll have a lot of fun stitching up goodies for gifts… or maybe just for us.
I hope I get to make something cute while I’m there. I can’t wait.
LOL – Raggy, Shabby it kind of sounds alike.
It really depends on the choice of colors, don’t you think? I mean if I use muted tones and primmy colors it would by Raggy.. Pinks and perky tones would by Shabby -LOL. I don’t know, I’ll just have to make one and then we’ll decide -LOL.
Very cute and creative! BUT if you leave the fabric hang over the applique – it’s called RAGGY!! lol lol And it’s a great look!!
