Jennie Baer – Artist

Friends I have come to a decision to hang up my pattern making apron and put my painting apron back on.

After 3 years of trying to absolutely fall in love with pattern making, I am admitting that I really don’t like writing out the patterns – at all!

I have been a bit conflicted over this subject for some time now. At first I thought Machine Embroidery would fix my frustration. I did find it really neat and exciting, but then the same ugly problems started popping their faces into my daily life. The real problem?? Instructions. I hate them.

I would be on a really great creative streak and everything would come to a hault for the stinkin’ instructions. *sigh* They simply ruined all of the fun. Not to mention I never seamed to finish anything, because I was avoiding the instructions. :D

So after much thought, and some prayer, I have come to the conclusion that I want to just be an artist! I want to doodle, and paint, and do all things digital – well artsy digital that is.

I feel such a relief that it almost makes me want to giggle. :D

If you love art, and you love my style, just hold on to your seats and get ready for some eye candy.

Love you all,

Jennie Baer

It was a scary move, but sometimes truly following your bliss is hard. :D
At least I’ll have a little more time to visit the Blissguild forum!

Jen,
I popped on here to check out your blog and had a big surprise! No more embroidery! I’m sure you are relieved to have made the decision, even though it was a difficult one.

Your digital artwork is lovely! Can’t wait to see more!
Alice
