About

Homeberries is about… Me. Jennie Baer.

I started out as an Artist and somehow fell into Embroidery Design. I’ve been designing patterns for the last 4 years, and although I love to see people using and enjoying my patterns, I don’t really enjoy writing them.

Yes it’s a shocking confession, but I really just love drawing and creating. I feel bogged down and creatively extinguished when it comes to making the patterns. I have fought with the idea of just giving it all up, but I don’t think that’s the answer. I feel that my pattern days have served their purpose in my creative development and it’s time to move on!

I want to continue to create! I just don’t want the patterns to make it “not so fun”.

I’m opening myself up to fully immersing myself into my artwork. Photography, drawing, painting, and designing will all be a part of my life.

I will be open to commission work, and happy for the challenges.

I am excited for this journey and I hope you will join me.

Love to you all,

Jennie Baer – Artist!

Hi, I have downloaded some of your free designs, they are wonderful. I can’t wait to work on them. Do you have designs for machine embroidery? If so, I would be interested in those.

These are simply wonderful designs ! They are a neat way to learn a new aspect of needlework/sewing crafts that I thoroughly enjoy. Not only about these amazing designs, but you as an artist have to be just fantastic to be able to do all you do. Designs like these and people like you are very inspiring to someone like me.

Did you know that ALL machines can use .DST format? I just learned that and thought I should share!
